More Matty Magic

Hi there folks

Last month I posted one or two shots of our recently arrived baby boy, Matthew Charles, and at the same time gave a plug for a friend's recently started photography business. I said at the time that I would post a few more pictures when I received them

Well, I've had them sat on the computer for a couple of weeks and have finally got around to putting them up. I hope you like them, and I hope you can forgive a proud father another tender moment

I will try to resist the temptation to put any more up just now. Looking at baby pictures is probably not what you come here for. Your indulgence is greatly appreciated

Mommy's Little Soldier

Okay, I know this isn't strictly speaking about soldiers, toy soldiers, model soldiers, grown men pretending to be soldiers, or anything else soldier related, but hey, forgive me a moment or two of self indulgence, and a completely shameless plug for a family friend and work colleague with an interest in developing a photography business as a sideline

Here are one or two more photos of 'our little fella', Matthew Charles, looking completely at home in front of the camera

Both of the above shots were taken at home and are low resolution to facilitate their being sent to us via email. I will certainly be putting one or two of the finished, high res, shots up here as soon as I get them

In the mean time, why not take a trip over to Louise's website and take a look at more of her excellent work

A Timely Arrival

Good morning, good people

It is the morning of the Stoneleigh Militaria show and, much as I would love to be in attendance, I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to make it, on account of the little fella pictured in the photographs below

Matthew Charles Fell, Mummy and Daddy's Little Soldier

Due to arrive on Monday, 31st January, he clearly had other plans and came along at 2.23 am on Saturday. With any luck, he will grow up to be a toy soldier collector, wargamer and airsofter of the future, but only time will tell. He is beautiful, of course, just as he is

If anyone out there is going to Stoneleigh and is thinking of taking some photos, if you would be willing to share them and contribute a few well chosen words for the blog your contributions would be very warmly welcomed

For now, I wish you all 'good night' and sweet dreams
