JJD: September Releases

Here I am again, trying desperately to get this post out before August ends and September begins! For all you JJD fans out there, and I now number myself amongst you, here is some news of his new releases for next month

September Releases
After a slightly longer than normal wait the September releases are now available for Pre-Order at JJD UK

The second of the three German airfield Accessory sets add even more depth to our Knights of the Skies displays and dioramas. “Unterlegkeile entfernt!”

The Battle of Chippewa’s wonderful 1814 “New Pattern Ammunition Wagon” is based on an engraving of a burning wagon at Waterloo. It is also suitable for Waterloo and later Peninsular Wars displays

The Peninsular War collection grows with the addition of two more fantastic Portuguese Cacadores, loading and firing

A further two superb Prussian Grenadier Casualties add an even more dynamic look to the Battle of Leuthen and come complete with rifles and grenadiermütze to litter your battlefield displays

The Battle on the Monongahela sees a welcome re-visit with the release of two packhorses with interchangeable baggage and the promise of more to follow

For the Raid on St Francis we continue to explore the more obscure personalities with ‘Prince’who accompanied Rogers on the raid and met an untimely end during the retreat from the Battle on Snowshoes

The Royal Marines thin blue line is bolstered in the Sudan by a two figure set of light infantry firing

The Spanish Civil War collection sees the release of the much awaited BT-05 Fast Tank, otherwise known by the nickname ‘Betka’, which first saw action during the war
